Mission

As a typical Global trade association GENA conducts the following activities:

  • Leadership: providing a robust governance framework and a strong team to gather and represent views and do the follow-up.
  • Public Affairs: keeping abreast of the regulatory framework, making timely decisions on common positions, creating consensus, building coalitions, adapting to new conditions and always behaving ethically and transparently.
  • Communications: creating a communications infrastructure, mastering digital communications, delivering rapid response media capabilities, stakeholder engagement, timely internal communications, well-managed events, and visually appealing materials.
  • Adding value: Developing influence, information and intelligence, industry promotion, standards and best practices.

GENA’s value proposition is built around three main pillars:

1° INFLUENCE

GENA members support business efficiency and innovation, whilst at the same time supporting important public agenda goals (tax efficiency, environmental efficiency and social responsibility).

2° INFORM

GENA offers a unique knowledge centre for matters related to e-invoicing through the publication of news, white papers, statistics,... and through an educational offering for industry entrants.

3° INTERACT

GENA offers its members an Interoperability Framework for seamless business cooperation and facilitates networking and learning amongst members through virtual and face-to-face meetings.
