News release: Erik Timmermans appointed as EESPA Secretary General on the retirement of Charles Bryant
The European E-Invoicing Service Providers Association (EESPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Erik Timmermans as its new Secretary General effective 1 October 2021 in succession to Charles Bryant.
Charles Bryant was one of the founders of EESPA in 2011 and as a Co-Chair and subsequently as Secretary General has been a driving force since its inception as a not-for-profit trade association based in Brussels. EESPA has built up a large membership dedicated to electronic invoicing and supply chain digitalization and operates in the areas of public policy and compliance, interoperability and non-competitive industry projects.
Erik Timmermans has an extensive background in the management of trade associations and initiatives in the factoring and commercial finance industry and joined EESPA as senior executive adviser at the beginning of 2021. He looks forward to working together with the EESPA leadership team and its members and with Dora Cresens at the EESPA Secretariat to continue the successful development of the association.
