Part-A is a general tutorial session on e-invoicing:
Interactive sessions including the value proposition for e-invoicing and supply chain automation, key definitions and models, buyer challenges and approaches for public administrations, supplier on-boarding, connections/networks, service provider roles, EU Directives and the regulatory environment, benefits and business case, project planning, EESPA interoperability frameworks- MIA and MIFA, fiscal compliance, and supply chain finance.
Part-B takes the new European Norm as a case study: Semantic model of EN 16931: e-invoice composition and information elements based on understanding the business processes. The EN is ‘best of breed’ and is a great vehicle for exploring the core business requirements of an e-invoice.
Syntax and technical issues to express the semantic model: syntax bindings, UBL, UN/CEFACT, UN/EDIFACT, and format conversion.
Related elements: Extensions, CIUS, transmission guidelines.
This element of the Workshop is provided by the European Commission.
During the seminar we will provide case studies and information on a number of country initiatives.
