“We would like to inform you that this Autumn, unlike previous periods, we [DG GROW- European Commission] are participating in and organizing a set of workshops and meetings instead of a formal EMSFEI meeting. We are happy to invite you to attend the following events:
• 30 September to 2 October – Exchange Summit Vienna
The Exchange Summit will host an interview to David Blanchard (Head of Unit (Acting), Unit G4 – Innovative and E-Procurement, DG GROW) by Charles Bryant (Secretary General EESPA) on “What´s Next on the EC´s Agenda Regarding E-Invoicing and E-Procurement?”. In case you are attending this event, you will also have the opportunity to attend a CEF eInvoicing Implementation Workshop led by our trainers Christian Rasmussen and Martin Forsberg.
• 10 October – European Week of Regions and Cities, Brussels
A session on “eProcurement and eInvoicing EU policy: implementation and challenges at regional level” where Irena Riviere-Osipov (DG GROW G4, eInvoicing), Marc-Christopher Schmidt (DG GROW G4, eProcurement), Ana Ramos (ESPAP – Shared Services Center for Public Administrations, Portugal), Kerstin Wiss Holmdahl (Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions), Declan McCormack (OGP – Office of Government Procurement, Ireland), Justin de Jager (Ministry of the Interior, EMSFEI Dutch representative) will discuss about the challenges to implement eInvoicing at regional level in the context of the eInvoicing Directive.

The CEF eInvoicing team is organizing a webinar to address the ongoing developments and current challenges in eInvoicing implementation led by our trainer Christian Rasmussen.
• 12 November – CEF eInvoicing Workshop on Sub-central level eInvoicing implementation, Brussels
You should have already received the official invitation to attend this workshop. It will be an opportunity to discuss about eInvoicing at sub-central level and about the new edition of the CEF eInvoicing country factsheets.
• 13 November – Deloitte workshop on new technologies, Brussels
During this workshop we will have the opportunity to learn about case studies that are making use of new technologies in the eInvoicing and eProcurement domains.
The CEF eInvoicing team will be soon launching the refresh exercise of the eInvoicing country factsheets where you will be invited to answer an online questionnaire and to check if the information currently available in your country factsheet is still valid.
The next formal EMSFEI meeting will be held beginning of next year.”
